The String Assassins band is a unique acoustic guitar quartet that melds rock, punk and bluegrass influences into an energetic, fast-paced performance that has to be seen and heard to believe. They play at some of the Treasure Coast’s top entertainment venues in West Palm Beach, Jupiter, Stuart and Vero Beach, Florida.
The Madnote started in January 2015 with Greg Stetz (vocals, guitars) and Rob Smith (vocals, guitars) meeting up to jam. They are from Port St. Lucie, FL. They share a love of playing music in general but especially classic rock and alternative, grunge era music. (Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Led Zeppelin, Beatles, Rolling Stones, etc). Soon after - they had about 150 cover songs ready to go and a few original recordings as well - "Invisible Man". The Madnote got it's name from the "Jay & Silent Bob" movies - where in Jay refers to things that are "cool" as "The Madnote". They play all over the Treasure Coast of Florida and are looking to expand the two man project by adding more musicians to the mix and writing/recording original material. Keep a look out for these guys!
